Forest House

Tucked deep within a mature woodland landscape, Forest House was designed as a quiet retreat removed from the pace of city life. Surrounded by tall tree canopies, the home embraces its natural setting, creating a calm and restorative environment where architecture and landscape exist in harmony.

The design organizes the house into two simple volumes connected by a transparent glass walkway that frames views through the forest and allows light to filter into the heart of the home. One volume contains the private family spaces and bedrooms, while the other houses the main living areas designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday family life.

Large expanses of glass open the interior to the surrounding landscape, connecting the home to both the front yard swimming pool and the terraced backyard gardens. These outdoor spaces become extensions of the interior, creating a seamless flow between indoor living and the natural environment.

The architecture is intentionally restrained—defined by clean forms, warm natural materials, and generous glazing. This quiet elegance allows the surrounding forest to remain the dominant experience, transforming the home into a place of refuge, reflection, and connection to nature.
